What Are You Thankful For?

As we celebrate Thanksgiving, we wanted to take a moment to share what we are thankful for.

Lindsay: I am so grateful to have the opportunity to work in a business I truly love. I get to spend my days talking to families about what is truly important to them and helping them discover ways to create an overall wellness plan that will help them achieve their goals. This allows them to live a fuller life knowing that they have done everything they can to provide for their family if they can’t. Not only do I get to work with amazing clients, I also get to work with a partner who has the same core values and vision that I do. Megan and I enjoy hanging out and coming up with new ways to serve our community and clients.

Having my own business also gives me the opportunity to work hours that allow me to spend time with my family and not be a slave to the clock or the Court’s schedule. Spending time with my family is one of the reasons I wanted to practice estate planning to begin with, and I am truly grateful to have this opportunity. I absolutely love the work that I do, the people I get to work with, and the life it allows me to have with my family and friends.

Megan: I am thankful for all the wonderful people in my life – my family, an amazing business partner, new referral partners and friends, as well as wonderful clients. I can remember the first time I knew that I wanted to have a career that served families and I am thankful that I am able to fulfill that vision. I enjoy all the conversations I get to have everyday whether it be with clients and families learning about how we can work to protect everything they’ve worked so hard for or referral partners and learning about new resources for clients or working on educational events.

One of the greatest blessings of this year has been to take this entrepreneurial journey to the next level. It was early last year when Lindsay and I realized that we shared a similar business vision and began talking about forming a partnership. Forming Willow Legal Group and having a partner to run events, share ideas, and serve our community has been a blast and I can’t wait to see what’s to come in the next year.

We are grateful for all of the wonderful people we have met while building our firm and who have welcomed us into the local community with open arms. We are also truly grateful for our wonderful clients who trust us to help them create their legacy of care and ease. Thank you to everyone who has supported us during this journey. We wish you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving.
