Samantha Jarman

Drafting Paralegal

Samantha Jarman brings a unique blend of discipline, public service, and legal experience to her role as Drafting Paralegal at Willow Legal Group. Her journey to estate planning has taken some meaningful turns — starting with a decade of service as an Engineer Officer in the National Guard, including a year on active duty working with the National Guard Bureau JAG. There, she focused on complex sexual assault investigations, an experience that deepened her understanding of both the legal system and the importance of compassionate support.

After her military service, Samantha joined the private sector as a Contracts Administrator with Northrop Grumman and then worked at the Department of Labor as a Whistleblower Investigator. Although she enjoyed the work, her priorities shifted with the arrival of her child — leading her to seek out a field that offers meaningful impact and the flexibility to enjoy family life. Estate planning was the perfect fit.

Samantha supports the firm by preparing customized estate planning documents that reflect each client’s individual goals. She believes it’s always better to plan while things are good, rather than in the chaos of a crisis — advice she often shares when discussing the importance of proactive planning.

People are often surprised to learn that Samantha was once afraid of dogs — now she shares her home with over 225 pounds of furry companionship in the form of two lovable (and very large!) pups. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her child, traveling, biking, and staying active.

What she appreciates most about Willow Legal Group is the supportive, family-focused culture that respects life outside the office — something she’s rarely found in her previous high-demand roles. For Samantha, estate planning is more than just paperwork; it’s about building a career that makes space for what matters most.
